Short Introductory
UPS is a public organization whose goal is the development, dissemination and popularization of psychoanalytic ideas, the formation of a system of professional psychoanalytic training in Ukraine in accordance with the standards of the IPA, and the preparation of qualified psychoanalysts for their certification as members of the IPA, providing knowledge and informing specialists of related fields: psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapists, psychologists, doctors, students of psychological faculties and medical institutes, as well as - strengthening ties with other psychoanalytic communities and organizations of the IPA, ensuring compliance of the professionalism and ethics of members with the main principles and criteria of the IPA.

1. Eitingon Training Model for UPS Candidates.
2. UPS training and authorized psychoanalysts are teachers, training analysts, and supervisors for psychotherapists who are in training of Ukrainian Association of Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy (UAPP), that is part of EFPP in Ukraine.

The both organizations – UPS and AUPP were founded by Ukrainian IPA psychoanalysts. Two organizations are very cooperative in popularization of psychoanalytical knowledge and providing psychoanalytical education according high standards in different levels.
