UCL Psychoanalysis Unit

Re-visiting Psychotic Aspects of the Personality

The Annual UCL Psychoanalysis Unit Conference

3rd - 5th December 2021
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open!

Deferred from December last year, Re-visiting Psychotic Aspects of the Personality will now be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December this year, with clinical seminars on Friday 3rd December.

Regrettably, owing to the still unwinding course of the pandemic, the 2021 conference and seminars must continue to be online. However, we intend to continue the conference’s tradition of being a working event in which everyone attending can be involved in the task of arriving at a best current psychoanalytic understanding of a central clinical issue.

The conference's keynote speakers will be Catalina Bronstein, Kate Pugh and Helga Skogstad. The parallel paper presenters will include Alla Rubitel and Becky Hall.

Clinical seminars are integral to the Psychoanalysis Unit's major conferences. This year there will be an afternoon seminar led by David Tuckett followed by concurrent evening seminars led by Irma Brenman Pick, Donald Campbell, Denis Flynn, Peter Fonagy, Gigliola Fornari Spoto, Francesca Hume, Daniel Pick, Kate Pugh, Vic Sedlak, Wilhelm Skogstad, David Taylor and David Tuckett.

If you are interested in contributing a parallel paper or presenting a case at a clinical seminar, get in touch with us at
