Vertices on the Unthinkable: Engaging Bion Today
13th International Bion Conference
New York, NY
Jun. 4 – 8, 2025
Please join us for the upcoming 13th International Bion Conference at the New School for Social Research in New York City, June 4-8, 2025!
Early bird registration closes soon!
Please see our website BIONNYC.COM for details.
Brief abstracts for paper and “no-paper” submissions are still being accepted.
We are welcoming proposals for discussions or readings that diverge from the more typical paper presentation.
So please submit your thoughts, developed or, as Bion puts it, of the "wild" or "stray" variety. Perhaps, for example, you’d like to lead a small group in a close reading of a Bion passage or other work that has spoken to you?
See our submission guidelines at BIONNYC.COM
We are also offering a number of Online Pre-conference groups. (Some of our Pre-conference series have already begun, with tapes of any groups already held to be provided for anyone who signs up. See our website for details.)
So please join us in New York City at the New School for Social Research in Greenwich Village! We have reserved blocks of hotel rooms and have some wonderful activities planned.
If ever there was a time for engaging Bion it is now. If ever there was a place, it is New York City and the New School, both known for providing refuge and inspiration in challenging times.
Confirmed pre-conference and conference speakers include:
Joe Aguayo PhD, Afsaneh Alisobhani PsyD, Avner Bergstein MA FIPA, Arnaldo Chuster MD, Francoise Davoine PhD, Jeff Eaton MA FIPA, Judy Eekhoff PhD FIPA, Ofra Eshel PsyD, Tom Helscher PhD, Howard Levine MD, David Lichtenstein PhD, Jani Santamaria PhD, Rogelio Sosnik MD, with more to come...
On behalf of the organizing committee, we look forward to welcoming you for some Bion in the Big Apple!
