1.The EPF guarantees to the members and candidates of European Societies and Study Groups the protection the protection of their data according to the right to privacy following the instructions given in the “Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 24th October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data”.
2.The EPF guarantees to the members and candidates of other IPA Societies and Study Groups registered as EPF web users the protection of their data according to the above mentioned Directive. The same rule applies to all other individual subscribers not included in an IPA Society or Study Group.
3.The EPF, through its executive body, will act as controller and determines that the purposes and means of the processing of personal data refers solely to EPF scientific aims.
4.The EPF data processor, its General Editor, on behalf of the EPF Executive, through its mandate, will use the data exclusively with the aim of informing membership in regard to the scientific life of the Federation and for the registration to the EPF Conference and other scientific events. In all cases the EPF guarantees to European members that their data will have the same level of protection as that of the IPA.
5.The EPF processor will facilitate and assure to members the access to and the right to rectify the data concerning them at any moment should they wish to do so.
