Die Europäische Psychoanalytische Föderation hat die Aufgabe, ein Ort des Austausches und ein geistiges Forum für die psychoanalytischen Gesellschaften in Europa zu sein
Zur Europäischen Psychoanalytischen Föderation (EPF) haben sich alle europäischen psychoanalytischen Gesellschaften zusammengeschlossen, die Zweiggesellschaften oder Study Groups der Internationalen Psychoanalytischen Vereinigung (IPV) sind. Die EPF besteht nun bereits seit mehr als 30 Jahren und vertritt ca. 5.000 Mitglieder aus 25 Ländern, in denen 20 verschiedene Sprachen gesprochen werden.
